Dr Steven Vickers

Dr Steven Vickers joined Sygnature in July 2018, following the acquisition of RenaSci by Sygnature Discovery.

Steven is an in vivo pharmacologist with over 25 years of experience and 40 publications with interests in diabetes, obesity, renal biology and CNS techniques. After several years working at Cerebrus and then as Principal Scientist at Vernalis, Steven joined RenaSci in 2004, occupying multiple positions until his most recent position as Deputy Director of the company. During that period he has worked closely with many clients offering established and bespoke model development to support drug discovery from target validation to clinical candidate selection.

He has a BSc from Queen Mary College, University of London and a D.Phil from the University of Sussex.
