Geraint Jones, PhD

Director, Chemistry

With 25 years of drug discovery experience gained across both biotech and CRO environments, Geraint joined Sygnature Discovery in September 2005. He was promoted to Principal Research Chemist in 2009, appointed Chemistry Group Lead in 2011, and advanced to Associate Director of Chemistry in 2013 before taking on the role of Director of Chemistry in 2015.

Prior to Sygnature, Geraint built his laboratory-based R&D experience at British Biotech, Evotec, and Maybridge. As a seasoned medicinal chemist, he has successfully led numerous long-term FTE-based projects for clients in the U.S. and Europe.

Geraint holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Cardiff University.
