We will be attending the Endocrine & Metabolic GPCRs: From Molecules and Mechanisms to Medicine meeting, taking place 9–10 February 2026 at the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool, UK. This event brings together scientists from academia and industry to share new data, technologies and ideas in the GPCR field, with a focus on GPCR activation, complex signalling and the latest approaches supporting therapeutic discovery.

Cell-Based Tools for the Elucidation of GPR75 Signalling and Identification of GPCR Modulators

Lesley Gerrard will present research from Sygnature Discovery focused on the orphan receptor GPR75, a growing target of interest in metabolic disease. The work showcases newly developed cell lines and functional assays that reveal how GPR75 signals, interacts with β‑arrestin and CRE pathways, and responds to potential ligands. These tools create a clearer picture of the receptor’s baseline behaviour and provide a practical route to identifying meaningful GPR75 modulators. This advances understanding of GPR75’s role in energy balance and opens new opportunities for metabolic drug discovery.
