Mathieu Leclère, PhD

Director, Analytical Chemistry & Separation Sciences

Mathieu has more than 20 years of experience in chemistry. Before the acquisitions by Nuchem and Sygnature Discovery, Mathieu joined Omegachem in 2012 as a synthetic chemist. Since 2015, he has managed both NMR and separation sciences. Throughout his scientific career, Mathieu has worked on a diverse range of projects, including carbohydrate chemistry, organic semiconductors, and solid‑phase peptide synthesis, along with experience in cell biology through work on HSC cryopreservation.
He holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Paris‑Saclay University (2005) and spent six years at the University of Ottawa as a postdoctoral fellow and research assistant.
