James Edgar

Chief People Officer

James joined Sygnature Discovery in May 2022 as Chief People Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources and People strategy.

Throughout his career, James has worked across multiple sectors, including manufacturing, facilities management, and primarily financial services.

He has a proven track record of delivering progressive, people-focused strategies that align with business objectives. James has supported start-ups, scale-ups, and high-growth organizations, as well as large multinational firms such as Barclays, Citigroup, and Sodexo. Before joining Sygnature, he served as the Chief Talent Officer for Wavemaker, a global media agency, part of WPP.
James holds a BSc in Managerial and Administrative Studies from Aston University, a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management, and an MBA from Warwick Business School. He is also an accredited Executive Coach and Mediator.
