Andrew Novak, PhD

Associate Director, Drug Discovery Partnerships

Andrew brings approaching 20 years of industry experience as a medicinal chemist to his role as Associate Director – Drug Discovery Partnerships at Sygnature Discovery.

He has worked with and led multi-disciplinary teams to deliver three clinical candidates across oncology, cardiovascular, and respiratory disease areas. Andrew is a named inventor on 21 patent applications and has authored 11 scientific publications, reflecting his strong track record in innovative drug discovery.

He earned both his MSci and PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, UK, and is highly skilled in guiding partners through the discovery process to translate cutting-edge science into high-quality preclinical candidates.
