We were\u00a0interested in reducing the risk involved in the preparation and\u00a0handling of organoazides. These are valuable intermediates\u00a0in copper(I)-catalysed azide-alkyne cyclo-additions with the\u00a0product triazoles required for one of our in-house projects.
