Yael brings more than 20 years of drug discovery experience to her role as Senior Director of Bioscience and Translational Sciences in Montreal, Canada.

She is a passionate drug hunter who has worked in large & mid-size pharmaceutical companies and small biotech such as Merck, Vertex, and Repare Therapeutics before joining Sygnature. Yael has excelled in many therapeutic areas including diabetes\/obesity, infectious diseases, cystic fibrosis, and oncology to name a few. There are currently 5 drugs being tested in human clinical trials for cancer and Alzheimer\u2019s that Yael was closely involved with during their discovery. She has also authored over 35 publications. Throughout her career, Yael has assembled talented teams of 25+ scientists and continues to train the next generation of drug hunters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yael holds a PhD in Microbiology & Immunology and postdoctoral training in Biochemistry from McGill University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
