A significant aspect of our research was directed at the quantification of a receptor trafficked to the cellular membrane using a pharmacochaperone in mutant cell lines. The EVOS\u2122 M7000 was instrumental in providing quick high-resolution acquisition across an entire 384 well plate, allowing high throughput quantification of pharmacochaperone activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-dark-blue-500-color has-text-color has-link-color has-text-2-xl-font-size wp-elements-3b13db4181357ac2e99079bd17388b5b\">Toxicity Evaluation Simplified<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The realm of compound toxicity evaluation underwent a paradigm shift with our use of Automated Microscopy. Gone are the days when additional cell viability assays were a necessity. Our results demonstrated that merely scanning assay plates suffices to detect compound toxicity, thereby streamlining the process and ensuring faster results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-dark-blue-500-color has-text-color has-link-color has-text-2-xl-font-size wp-elements-d19eb17f7e2e492ea1276ea1e41ac3fc\">Enzymatic Activity Assay with a Twist<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Enzymes, the biocatalysts of the cellular world, were put under the microscope \u2014 quite literally. We employed a fluorescent substrate to detect enzyme activity, followed by a meticulous examination using the Cellesteto ascertain if the enzyme activity showcased a reduced vesicular pattern of expression following inhibition by a small molecule.
