About the role
The DMPK team at Sygnature Discovery play an essential role in actively discovering new drugs for a broad range of projects, molecular targets and therapeutic indications.
Your tasks as a Trainee QC Officer will be varied and will involve managing multiple tasks effectively in order to meet deadlines.
Principal responsibilities will include;
- Building and maintaining an understanding of all in vitro and in vivo assays performed by the DMPK department with a view to:
- Understanding critical parameters to be checked
- Understanding control compound data and acceptance
- Understanding bioanalytical acceptance criteria
- Performing QC checking of workbooks and reports for data accuracy and format consistency
- Working within the Department to identify processes that lead to errors and help with directing informatics colleagues to provide solutions to these
- Helping with the generation of reports for clients
To succeed in the role, you will have the following capabilities and experience;
- Life Science graduate and/or equivalent quality management qualification
- Preferably experience in a DMPK laboratory environment with experience of screening DMPK assays in a discovery environment (non-regulated)
- Able to deliver deadlines under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Diplomatic, polite and professional
- Contribute positively to the team
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in document proofreading
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
